Grosvenor Facilities Management runs the Oncology department at Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham. The Facilities Manager, Wayne Goode, approached us about a large cleaning project that required extreme attention to detail and strict adherence to health and safety guidelines. This would see the thorough cleaning of walkways, courtyards, footpaths and sitting areas throughout the Oncology department, taking six weeks from start to finish.
Due to Castle Hill being a busy hospital, the entire job needed to be done out of hours and during weekends in order to minimise disruption, which was no problem for the team here at Veteran Stone. We always discuss unique requirements before taking on a project, as that way we can customise the service that we deliver in order to achieve top results.
As well as steam cleaning the courtyards and jet washing walkways, our team applied specialist soft wash techniques to some exterior walls in order to eradicate mould and algae. The outcome was not only a far more attractive environment free of dirt and grime, but also much higher levels of external hygiene for staff, patients and visitors to enjoy.
